Our Journey

• 1964

  Late Shri Ram M Sethi founded the company as a small-scale unit producing Allen Key Bolts and Grub Screws in Ludhiana.
• 1980

  The product range widened, and in-house threading machines gave the company control over a process it had previously depended on others for. Domestic demand followed.
• 1991

  Leadership passed to the second generation under Honey Sethi. The catalogue grew to 4,500+ variants
• 2004

  A full shift to bolt formers, a move few in the industry had made yet, and one that reshaped how the plant produced at scale.
• 2012

  Late Shri Ram Murthi Sethi passed away in 2012, and Rajni Jaidka Sethi stepped in running the accounts and billing operations that keep a manufacturing floor moving work that rarely gets seen but never stops mattering.
• 2014

  Two separate manufacturing units, run independently for years, were brought together into one plant inventory, dispatch, and production under a single roof for the first time.
• 2016

  MSMEs and Indian Railways joined the customer base proof the standards built for domestic industry held up under institutional scrutiny too.
• 2018

  The company became Avighan AB Steels Pvt. Ltd. a structural shift matching what the business had already become.
• 2025

  ZED Bronze and SMERA SME4 certification marked a new level of formal recognition, the export push chapter has opened with reachouts to Africa, Poland, and the EU. The same year, Avighan Sethi joined as the company's third generation.

Founded in 1964 by Late Shri Ram M. Sethi, A.B. Steel Works began as a small manufacturing unit producing Allen Key Bolts and Grub Screws. Over six decades, through changing markets, generations and increasing competition, the company grew the way we believe a manufacturing business should one reliable order at a time.

Today, Avighan A.B. Steels is a third-generation, professionally managed manufacturer with 4,500+ fastener variants, including Allen Key Bolts, Grub Screws, Button Head Cap Screws, CSK, Studs, JCB Bolts, Tool Post Bolts, Hex bolts and more across standard sizes.

But our journey has never been about simply making more products.

It has been about understanding what goes into making them consistently, precisely and reliably.

The standards we manufacture were not adopted because they looked good on a brochure. They were shaped over years of working with demanding Indian OEMs, where consistency and reliability were never optional.

Six decades later, the foundation remains the same. The ambition has simply grown.

We have spent generations proving that we can manufacture. Now, we are taking that experience beyond India building the relationships and capabilities to put Indian-made precision on factory floors around the world.
